Purpose — The aim of this research is to examine the interest Generation-Z in travel by exploring factors that influence their choice tourism destination and reasons for traveling.Method To collect data research, a qualitative method was employed whereby an open-ended online questionnaire distributed 71 individuals belonging Z generation Tebing Tinggi City. We utilized thematic analysis as technique analyze collected.Result found has psychological need vacations alleviate stress caused numerous responsibilities. When traveling, they typically choose closest most renowned tourist area, without spending excessive amounts money. Popular activities them include searching picturesque locations, experiencing local cuisine, camping. affordably efficiently, often opts private vehicles such motorcycles or cars, which enable visit multiple places.Contribution This study contributes body knowledge on behavior implications industry terms catering demographic's unique preferences needs.
